Fire TV, to vindere. LG C9 og Panasonic GZ2000 løb med alle priserne ved HDTVTests 2019 shootout, der blev gennemført som en blindtest, hvor skærmenes rammer var maskeret.

HDTVTest 2019 Shootout
Ved den årlige amerikanske shootout blev Sony AG9 (A9G) kåret til 'King of TV'. Ved den årlige britiske shootout vurderede deltagerne derimod, at LG og Panasonics OLED-tv slog skærmen fra Sony samt Samsungs Q90R - den eneste LCD-model i sammenligningen.

Begivenheden blev afholdt i går den 18. august i London i samarbejde med forhandleren Crampton & Moore. Det er 6. gang, at sammenligningen finder sted og i år havde HDTVTest besluttet at gøre det til en blindtest, altså at maskere skærmenes rammer, logo og stande samt benytte et rullende gardin til at maskere menuer og notifikationer.

De fire TV:
65" LG C9 – dansk pris
65" Panasonic GZ2000 – dansk pris
65" Samsung Q90R – dansk pris
65" Sony AG9 – dansk pris

Skærmene var alle kørt ind og var blevet kalibreret til dag, nat, spil og HDR i samarbejde med Portrait Displays Tyler Pruitt og HDTVPolskas Maciej Koper. En professionel master-monitor (Sony BVM-X300) var opsat som reference. De 38 deltagere blev bedt om at evaluere skærmene i en række kategorier på en skala fra 1 til 5.


Og vinderne er...
Blandt de fire TV var der to klare vindere. Panasonic GZ2000 vandt 'Best Home Theatre TV' samt 'Best Living Room TV'. LG C9 vandt 'Best Gaming TV', 'Best HDR TV' samt 'Best TV of 2019'.

Som tabellen afslører, så var det et meget tæt løb imellem LG C9 og Panasonic GZ2000.

- "The LG C9 and Panasonic GZ2000 were virtually neck-and-neck in most categories until the gaming segment where the former's class-leading input lag of 13ms tipped the scales in favour of the LG. The Panasonic GZ2000 had the best colour accuracy and HDR tone-mapping out of the box with the least tweaks required, but the HDR Autocal and in particular tone-curve adjustment feature on the LG C9 allowed it to level the playing field," udtaler Vincent Teoh fra HDTVTest. "The Panasonic GZ2000 had the best near-black uniformity and video processing which helped it take home the "Best Home Theatre TV" and "Best Living Room TV" gongs, but ironically its higher peak brightness introduced some posterisation in very bright specular highlights in the 1000-nit content shown, causing it to lose out to the LG C9 for "Best HDR TV".

Ved sidste års event vandt TV baseret på OLED-teknologi alle priser pånær i gaming-kategorien, hvori prisen gik til Samsung Q9FN. Ved dette års event blev Samsungs Q90R LCD-skærm sendt hjem uden priser, men den scorede dog højest i kategorien for ydelse i oplyste omgivelser.

- "This year, we decided to conduct a "blind" shootout to eliminate any brand bias however subconscious, and it's heart-warming to see some common beliefs being validated, such as Sony having the best motion handling, and Samsung QLED being the best bright-room TV. The audience also continues to prefer OLED in the majority of categories scored, owing to the display technology's self-emissive characteristics which deliver true blacks, vibrant colours and wide viewing angles," sagde Vincent Teoh.

Ligesom sidste år lægger resultaterne fra HDTVTests Shootout sig tæt op ad Flatpanels Flatpanels' anmeldelser.
